In his first nationwide televised meeting since the election, Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn. ) didn’t just express his grief over the loss; he also exposed the growing dread among Democrats and their supporters in the wake of their so-echoes.

The interview took place on MSNBC, of training, with Rachel Maddow opening, but it met all the requirements of a Democrat safe place. In an effort to remain relevant, Walz entered with his signature resting frown to squirm and weep about what is going on with the new Trump presidency.
And you simply had to be aware that Project 2025 may arise.
” A lot of people have been now and the last few days crediting your plan and crediting all the monitoring during the battle that identified Project 2025 as basically what appeared to be a blueprint for the approaching Trump leadership,” Maddow said. ” They denied it. They claimed they had no idea of it and had nothing to do with it. Does it seem to you like that’s basically what they’re doing”?
” Oh, it is”, Walz declared. ” It doesn’t seem. It is”.
I guess old habits die hard.
Although it was uncommon for people to approach Walz for democratic advice, Maddow was nonetheless required to inquire about what to do next.
The typical viewer who is currently watching you who thinks this needs a lot of a force, apologize. What ought they to accomplish? Maddow asked.
” Yeah. And do you know the frogs in the heating water, a name that is frequently used? We’ve been in the damned dish means to long”, he said. It is speaking up, I believe. It’s thinking about your relatives. It’s writing and putting those members of Congress. Appear, there is no spying amongst those people. But this is true. This is, you know, they’re talking about defunding the police, issues that they, you know, breath their chests up and say they’re great with making the case”.

This poorly executed comparison simply serves as a reminder of the mental loop the Democrat Party has gotten into. Walz appeared to be wallowing in the sadness, which I may say is very on-brand for him, rather than actively fostering a strong counter-narrative against Trump’s plans.
When addressing the climate following the defeat, Walz lamented,” To the citizens, I’m with this also. Everybody’s lethargic. Trust me, I get it. It was true heaven, and the sorrow and the stress, and I’m, you know, soul-searching – what could we have done to make the situation? Because we knew this was coming”.
Oooh, that’s pretty. He genuinely believed Kamala and he had a chance, right?
Never once during the election did the Harris-Walz internal polling indicate Kamala was away, according to many studies. Did the campaign no share this with the applicants?  ,
Unable to take fight, Walz did what Democrats do best: encourage a fake incident. Apropos of nothing, Walz nonchalantly quipped in the middle of a rant,” You know, we spent three days, you know, debating… trying to debate that President Musk gave a Nazi salute — of course he did” ! ,
Does he really want to go there?

Walz is aware of how well-known we are that Musk didn’t perform a Nazi welcome. The subsequent video shows Walz doing the exact same movement, including pounding his center second, at a protest:

Why then do we keep pushing this fake? Because of this, Democrats are the only ones who have this right then. In 2017, it was” Russia! Russia! Russia”! In 2025, it’s” Nazi! Nazi! Nazi”!
Unfortunately, Walz truly advised his friend Liberals not to “take the bait on the interruptions”.
One can only wish that the Democrats take a hard look at the somber facts as they regroup after their loss. If they don’t reconsider their isolated method to engaging with the American public, no amount of self-pity or mysterious metaphors will revitalize their chances.  ,
How many polls and focus groups have concluded that voters no longer care about the issues that matter to them? Like all of them. Democrats like Walz are hellbent on the notion that Trump is the cause of the problem because he violated his election promises.
