A Missouri person, known for stealing Nancy Pelosi’s name during the January 6 Capitol strike, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for causing a fatal accident while driving crazy, KSDK media reports.
Emily Hernandez, 25, was convicted for the demise of 32-year-old Victoria Wilson and the wound of her husband, Ryan E. Wilson, in a crash on January 5, 2022.
On Wednesday, Franklin County Judge Ryan Helfrich sentenced Hernandez to 10 years in prison for the dangerous accident and seven more for harming Wilson’s father. The two phrases will run continuously.
At the courtroom hearing, Ryan Wilson, who was seriously injured in the fall, shared his problems. ” No matter how quiet I cried out to her, I don’t light her”, he was quoted as saying to KSDK, using a wood to walk due to the extent of his injury. ” I couldn’t achieve her because of the atmosphere bags”.
Hernandez was traveling on the opposite side of the road when she struck the Wilsons ‘ car. Her blood alcohol content after the collision was 0.2 %, which is more than twice the legal limit. Hernandez said in judge,” What I did was immoral and I may live with that sorrow for the rest of my life. ” I am sorry for what I did and if I may take it all back, I do”, she added.
Victoria Wilson’s home was relieved to see justice, but they acknowledged the continuous pain. ” Nothing did take her back”, said Tonie Donaldson, Victoria’s family, as quoted by KSDK. ” It was a pleasure to be able to move around and look her in the eye and show her how much damage she had actually done to us,” she said.” She has to live with it.
President Donald Trump pardoned Hernandez last week on his first day in business after admitting guilt to the assault at the US Capitol. While displaying a piece of Pelosi’s company mark, she was captured smiling.
Hernandez is scheduled to go back to jail after receiving a sentence for the dangerous accident while driving intoxicated.
