During the confirmation hearing for Kash Patel, Trump’s nominee to lead the FBI, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC ) criticized the Steele dossier, a discredited document crucial to the Russia investigation of President Donald Trump.
On Thursday, Patel appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where Republicans and Democrats pressed him for a challenging question and he received a comfortable welcome.

In his opening remarks, Patel alleged that he was a victim of the justice system’s use of weapons and promised to make sure that no one has to face a politically inspired research or prosecutors if it is proven otherwise.
Graham repeatedly asked Patel if he was acquainted with the knowledge society’s investigations into possible links between Trump and the Russian state during his 2016 presidential campaign, and he constantly hit on that topic during his first line of questioning.
