During his next confirmation hearing for the country’s leading health status on Thursday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. refuted allegations of sexual misconduct against his ex-babysitter.
When Eliza Cooney, 23, who was 23 years his senior, questioned by Democratic Senator Patty Murray about alleged unwanted advances she had made toward him while he was in his mid-40s, Kennedy vehemently replied,” No, I did not.”
He responded when questioned about his “apologetic for something else” in a word message he sent to Mooney, despite claiming no wrong. Kennedy maintained he rarely made non-consensual physical improvements.
The president’s candidate apologized to Cooney for any pain he caused, according to documents from the Washington Post, where he had no memory of any wrongdoing.
The scriptures read,” I have no recollection of this affair, but I sincerely regret for anything I actually did that upset you or hurt your feelings.” I always intended for you to suffer. If I hurt you, it was unintended. I feel bad about doing that.
The subsequent trials have noted various problems, including his vaccine-related statements and shifting pregnancy policy positions.
His niece, Caroline Kennedy, submitted a crucial letter before Wednesday’s reading, urging the Senate to accept his candidacy, describing him as a “predator” with reported record of animal abuse and substance use.
