Donald Trump, president of the United States, has stated to investigators that he intends to implement his strategies to place individual 25 % tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico, but he may also include an exemption for fuel.
The leader had already indicated that he would use tariffs as leverage in border security conversations with his northern and southern neighbors before taking business.

Trump set a Feb. 1 deadline for both nations to begin following their respective border and immigration policies in order to avoid imposing blanket 25 % tariffs on all imports following his inauguration.
