A Texas man may face criminal charges after a shocking picture that shows him removing snow from his car from a 3-month-old child appeared online.
According to a report from NYP, the stunning images, which went viral on TikTok and was later shared on Twitter by columnist Kevin Steele, shows the unnamed 25-year-old person using the mother’s body to remove inches of snow from the front of a Hyundai Elantra. The gentleman, dressed in a short-sleeve shirt and pants, appeared unfazed by the action, while the child remained face-up in a heavy coat.
Nearby police were alerted to the film, prompting an inspection. Tim Duriso, the police chief in Port Arthur, confirmed to KBMT that officials have interrogated the person but have not yet filed fees.
” We confirmed that it was a 3-month-old baby”, Duriso said. At the time, he was traveling with two other women. We believe that one of them was the family. They checked on the child, and the girl was really good”.
Despite the girl apparently being unharmed, the Jefferson County district attorney’s Office is reviewing the situation and may issue an arrest warrant for child destruction, according to KFDM.
” It’s a sad condition”, Duriso said. ” I know that many people use social media to look for keystrokes, but this is not a package where you should seal the deal,” he said.
The incident occurred as Texas battled a unique southern blizzard that caused unheard-of rain, causing residents to experience more sweltering days of everyday life. While the winter wind produced scenes of adaptation and endurance, this particular remark sparked widespread outcry, with many asking for the person responsible to be held accountable in court.
Authorities are still conducting inquiries, and they urge the people to prioritize child safety over social media spoofing.
