Beijing: China has made no solution of its need to seize Taiwan, which it might do by putting a stop to supplies and putting a siege on the island’s self-governing. The Chinese government recently conducted drills in order to stop the US government from supporting Taiwan, according to a statement from The Eurasian Times.
The goal of the December 2024 Chinese model was to teach US troops to prevent them from entering the sea surrounding the area, according to an examination by the Japan Institute for regional elements, while quoted by The Eurasian Times.
During the war drills, China stationed 18 destroyers and frigates south of the” initial island ring,” which extends from the Philippines to Japan’s Nansei Islands. According to The Eurasian Times, the practice took place between December 6 and December 12.
The first island chain, which is located west of the second chain and west of the” second island chain,” which extends from Guam to the Izu Islands in Japan, is believed to be a result of China’s anti-access/area denial ( A2AD ) tactics.
For China, it was the biggest defense drilling in about thirty times. China asserted its supremacy over the first area network, which includes the South and East China Seas and extends from Japan to Indonesia, by not only demonstrating its ability to embargo Taiwan, but it also demonstrated that it could siege Taiwan.
The People’s Liberation Army‘s ( PLA ) Eastern, Southern, and Northern theater commands ‘ first coordination, per The Eurasian Times, made it possible to put pressure on Taiwan and its allies by conducting extensive combined arms drills across a large area.
In addition to the more than 134 Army helicopters that were flown during the three-day tasks close to the islands, China even deployed 30 China Coast guard ships and more than 60 PLA-Navy vessels as well as 30 China Coast guard ships, according to reports.
Without receiving live-fire training, the Chinese troops practised attacking international boats, obstructing sea roads, and intercepting business vessels. The PLA-Navy constructed two barriers south of Taiwan in order to encircle the first island chain, according to The Eurasian Times.
