A former assistant from the Obama leadership, Rahamim Shy, has been sentenced to prison for his terrible purposes toward a child. Quiet, 47, a senior adviser on Pakistan and Afghanistan in the State Department during the Obama administration, was convicted after traveling to the U. K. for the purpose of engaging in sexual works with a nine-year-old woman.  ,

More than a quarter of communication with an undercover police officer posing as the girl’s mother was part of Shy’s arrangements. When he arrived in Bedfordshire in February 2024, he was detained with astonishingly incorrect items in his bag, including contraception and stuffed species.
He received an 11 and a half year prison sentence.  ,
The Daily Mail has more:
This followed letter with an adult describing herself as’ Debbie’, the woman’s mother.
But, unbeknown to Quiet, the girl did not exist and ‘ Debbie’ was in truth an undercover official with Bedfordshire Police.
Nervous, a US resident, who lives in New Jersey, worked for the White House under president Barack Obama and secretary of state Hillary Clinton.
Timid spoke in enthralling detail about the troubling acts he wanted to commit against the lady and how he was willing to travel to England to do so using an online forum and after messaging apps.
He described the girl’s age of nine as a’ tad later’ to start physical activity, and that it was an’ honour’ to become considered’ her second’.
On February 23, 2024, Quiet traveled to England by flying through Gatwick Airport before driving to Bedford where he met the covert agent and was soon detained.

Shy’s failure to persuade the court that U.S. authority had invalidated the situation in his trial underlined the court’s clear jurisdiction since the intended crime was to take place in the U.K.

The former Obama advisor was described by Crown Prosecution Service member Lorraine Telford as” a monster who was totally prepared to commit terrible acts against a baby for his own sexual pleasure.” Telford emphasized the importance of protecting children, saying,” It was obvious from his explicit conversations and products he brought to England that he had only one objective: to commit murder against what he knew was a vulnerable baby.”
She continued,” Quiet will no longer create an immediate danger, and it is a payment to the police function and subsequent trial that the infant in this case did not exist.”
In the end, Quiet was given an 11-year and six-month jail sentence, with the trial demonstrating that the victim’s absence did certainly lessen the severity of his crimes.

The disturbing lack of U.S. advertising insurance of this history should not go unmentioned. I didn’t find any local media coverage of his arrest or conviction besides a New York Post record on his arrest last season. Why is that? Okay, that’s a rhetorical question, because I think we all know the reason why U. S. internet ignored the account.
