In exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants have so far given the International Committee of the Red Cross ( ICRC ) 15 hostages.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s department confirmed that it had received the titles of the three people who were being free.

In addition to killing Siegel from the community Kfar Aza and Kalderon and Bibas from the community Nir Oz, they also abducted them from the October 7, 2023 assault on Israel, which started the Gaza battle.
251 people were taken prisoner by militia that morning. Of those, 79 also remain in Gaza, including at least 34 the government says are useless.
The wife and two of Bibas ‘ children have been taken, but Israeli leaders have yet to confirm that. Hamas has already declared them useless.

Hamas claims that the kids and their mother were killed in a 2023 Jewish airstrike.
Chaotic images
The prisoner handovers in Gaza have occasionally been turbulent, especially with the most recent one in the southern town of Khan Yunis, which resulted in images that the Israeli prime minister called” shocking.”
According to television footage, the woman who had been held captive Arbel Yehud was clearly disturbed as the masked gunman fought to clear a path for her through the crowds of spectators determined to see her handover.
Israel recently delayed the launch of the prisoner on Thursday in protest, and the ICRC urged all events to increase security.
” We demand improvements in the future,” said ICRC chairman Mirjana Spoljaric, adding that the protection of these businesses may be assured.
Later on Thursday, Israeli regulators released 110 imates from Ofer jail, including high-profile previous violent chief Zakaria Zubeidi, 49, who was given a soldier’s welcomed in the West Bank town of Ramallah.
