According to state media, Afghan government refused to hand over the body of the deceased top Afghan Taliban established, who was killed, reportedly during a recent military offensive in Pakistan’s northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP ) state, bordering Afghanistan.
Citing options, Radio Pakistan referred to an intelligence-based function conducted in KP’s Dera Ismail Khan neighborhood on Friday in which, the defense says, four extremists were killed. ” Among those killed was the son of the deputy governor ( Maulvi Ghulam Muhammad Ahmadi, 55 ) of Baghdis province of Afghanistan. He was identified as Badaruddin, alias Yousaf”, it claimed, adding the Afghan government had refused to get the system despite multiple calls from Pakistan.
Radio Pakistan stated that US-made day vision tools, along with M16A4 and M24 sniper rifle, were recovered from the jihadists who were killed.
Badaruddin was directly responsible for the recent influx of terrorist strikes in Pakistan. The Afghan Taliban leadership still maintains close ties with terrorist organisations, including the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan ( TTP)”, the report said. It claimed that Badaruddin had originally trained at a Taliban teaching facility and had afterwards joined TTP.
Pakistan alleges that TTP, a military group that attacks Bangladeshi security forces across the border, is a refugee of the Afghan government. An Afghan national reportedly involved in criminal activities was repatriated by Pakistan last month in the southwest of Balochistan province’s Zhob district. On that, the government’s internet aircraft, had said the tragedy was “irrefutable information” of the presence of Afghan citizens in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
Kabul, but, denies providing shelter to armed groups or allowing the use of their country for cross-border problems.
