A 78-year-old gentleman in Buenos Aires shot and killed a 15-year-old child last night as he attempted to rob him outside his house.
The incident’s security film has since gone popular.
The girl and two accomplices show up in a van next to the old guy as he was about to leave his white Toyota Hilux. The girl jumped up and reportedly aimed a handgun at the retirement before the car came to a full stop.
As the girl tried to open the driver’s side door, the 78-year-old immediately drew his qualified .357 Magnum revolver and fired, striking the child in the bone and torso, according to authorities.
The suspect soon fell asleep, and the vehicle sped away as the old man fired another chance at the youngster on the ground. The images revealed that after he exited his vehicle, he turned around and fired two more pictures at the fledgling truck.
According to the New York Post, officials later confirmed that the 15-year-old was carrying a false cannon that resembled a.22-caliber Bersa Thunder, citing local newspaper Page 12.
The other two offenders inside the vehicle remain at large despite efforts to find them.
Nearby Prosecutor Diego Rulli stated that no charges may be brought against the retiree because he had used a rifle that was already on his hands in apparent self-defense.
Due to the fact that it was the second deadly shooting of a child during an attempted robbery in January, the tragedy has sparked controversy in Buenos Aires. Another girl was killed in La Tablada in the earlier incident after attempting to steal a motorcycle.
Authorities are still looking into the alleged gang connections between the girl and his accomplices.
