Elon Musk on Tuesday responded to a US attorney’s legal support for DOGE employees facing public threats. The whole turmoil began when DOGE employees attempted to access secure systems at USAID. Taking to social media platform X, Musk responded with a warning against those threatening DOGE employees, “Don’t mess with DOGE.”
Elon Musk, the US attorney for the district of Columbia, and US attorney Ed Martin, the US attorney for the district of Columbia, emailed him online to request that he record any challenges that the DOGE workers might have been facing.
He said,” We will not tolerate threats against DOGE workers or law-breaking by the disgruntled”.
He more reassured that DOGE people are working with the FBI and various law enforcement agencies to look into risks they make to Expand employees.
This significant shake off started during an inner conflict at USAID on Saturday when four younger tech professionals—Luke Farritor, Edward Coristine, Jeremy Lewin, and Gavin Kliger, visited USAID office multiple times, seeking info from officers.
On Saturday, they attempted to access a very safe area known as a SCIF, located on the second floor of the Reagan Building. While the paperwork they sought were no classified, access to the SCIF requires security certification.
However, when the other group was denied admittance, one of them called Musk and afterward warned protection that he would contact the US Marshals Service if his team was denied entrance. Following this action, they gained admittance, though Trump player’s Katie Miller clarified that no key data was involved.
