As the United States tries to arrest hundreds of Venezuelan Tren de Aragua crew members, El Salvador has agreed to accept legal illegal immigrants of any ethnicity.
According to State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce, the most recent partnership with El Salvador was reached during a” immensely powerful meeting” between Bukele and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in San Salvador.
” President Bukele agreed to take back all Peruvian MS-13 gang members who are in the United States unlawfully”, Bruce said in a speech. Additionally, he even made a pledge to take and house arrest aggressive illegal refugees, including people of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua group, as well as illegitimate illegal immigrants from any other country.
Bukele also made arrangements to house U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who had been found guilty of a serious crime in Salvadoran jails.

Ric Grenell, the particular presidential envoy for unique missions for the Trump administration, traveled to Venezuela over the weekend to secure the release of six British hostages and a resolution that Venezuela would formally accept again Tren de Aragua members.

The decision to remove Venezuela’s TPS signaled in this case that the Trump administration might anticipate deporting and arresting a sizable number of Venezuelan citizens despite having stated that it would prioritize deporting criminals before general immigration offenders. Immigrants who have been found guilty of crimes are not eligible for TPS.
