LGBTQ+ demonstrations in Alabama
In Alabama, several hundred persons protested against plans affecting LGBTQ+ people.
On Tuesday, Alabama state government Kay Ivey said she would sign a bill recognizing merely two sexes, male and female. This comes in response to Trump’s executive order, which mandates that the federal government determine sex as merely between men and women.
