Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended US President Donald Trump’s strategy to absorb Palestinians from Gaza on Thursday, saying,” It should be pursued.
” What’s wrong with the idea of allowing Gazans to leave”? Reuters quoted Netanyahu as saying,” The plan should be pursued and done,” adding that.
Following President Donald Trump’s comments made later on Tuesday, where he stated his wish for the US to retake control of the Gaza Strip and redevelop it after Palestinians are resettled somewhere, Trump stated,” We will own it and be accountable for destroying all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other arms on the site.”

Trump also mentioned that the US would “level up” destroyed structures and develop an economic development program to provide “unlimited numbers of tasks and accommodation to the people of the area.”
During a White House press conference, Trump said to writers,” I do notice a long-term equity place, and I see it bringing tremendous security to that region and possibly the entire Middle East.” Everyone I’ve spoken to adores the idea that the United States owns that piece of land, so this decision was certainly made lightly.
Earlier, Trump had suggested that displaced Palestinians in Gaza get “permanently” resettled outside the country.
