Bill Gates has mixed views about Elon Musk, his DOGE and its role in the administration and Musk’s opinions about many things at the same time and also the recent announcement that Musk made about shutting down the United States Agency for International Development. Bill Gates made several media appearances as part of the promotion for his new book Source Code and spoke at great length about what he thinks about Elon Musk.
Bill Gates considers Elon Musk to be extremely intelligent, but he calls it “insane s**t” for backing far-right AfD in Germany. His DOGE is no dangerous, according to Gates, but what he thought of USAID was.
” If USAID is shut down, it could lead to literally thousands of fatalities.”
Bill Gates said on” The View” that he was concerned that reducing the USAID would have led to literally thousands of fatalities. ” Well, Elon, his private sector job, you know, has been very impressive, really great. I’m a much concerned, especially with this USAID stuff, because many people in the private business don’t take the time to understand what the great job is or why it’s structured the way it is when they enter state,” Gates said.
” My base companions with USAID on diet and getting vaccinations out and, you know, there’s extraordinary people. You know, they’re not really worms that operate there. But, you know, maybe we’ll get some of that labor back in shape. In truth, if we don’t, you know, you could have virtually millions of deaths”, Gates added.
Appearing in a CNN meeting, Bill Gates reiterated that he was a “little dissatisfied” by Musk’s attempts to locked down the company. He did, however, say that he looks forward to working with Elon Musk.
Bill Gates said,” The basic concept is that we should examine almost every office and that if you are really smart about using systems, you are updating the ambitions, you are saving 10 % here, 10 % there,” but “going in very quickly and saying that all these persons run a criminal business, that’s not as simple as you’d like to see.”
