On Thursday evening, an Alabama inmate who was found guilty of killing a person while she slept was executed. This was the third day nitrogen oil was used for execution in the United States.
Demetrius Frazier, aged 52, was declared dead at 6: 36pm CST in a south Alabama custodial facility for the 1991 murder and murder of Pauline Brown, 41.
Following deaths in Texas and South Carolina, this was Alabama’s primary execution this year and its third in the US in 2025.
