This is the book if ever you needed evidence that X Community Notes is vastly superior to commercial “fact checks” as a tool for true journalists to do actual work preventing “misinformation” rather than as a sledgehammer to reduce rebel narratives.

Lying about being a Native American for DEI leg-ups, it turns out, isn’t the only deceit Elizabeth Warren peddles.
Â
, This lay, however, is much more significant in terms of plan impact:  ,” I don’t get contributions from Major Pharma executives. When confronted about her slanders of RFK Jr., Elizabeth Warren says,” I don’t get any business PAC money.”

However, the conflicting evidence is right there in the X Community Notes glass, just below the lying pharmaceutical instrument, with links and links and links, making my career as a journalist exposed her blatant lies much simpler:” Elizabeth Warren has in fact received donations from both Pharmaceutical companies and PAC organizations in the mixed sum of millions of dollars.”
Anxious Elizabeth Warren:” Test my website, I don’t get contributions from Big Pharma executives. I don’t take any corporate PAC money” .pic. twitter.com/dSaNck5C2x— Defiant L’s ( @DefiantLs ) February 4, 2025
Warren, in fact, is the second-biggest beneficiary of cash from pharma employees and/or PACs in the entire Congress, next to Bernie Sanders.

Via TIME, 2020 (emphasis added ):
In an ironic twist, this now makes Warren, who has been the most prominent reversal of the candidates ‘ positions on the subject of high-dollar donations, the biggest beneficiary of such a group heading into Super Tuesday. Along with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, has been the strongest opponent of super PACs in the 2020 campaign. At one point, nearly every candidate decried the practice, before realizing it may be a necessity for survival.
As long as the organizations don’t coordinate directly with the candidates they are supporting, donors can give unlimited amounts to a super PAC as per campaign finance laws. Since launching her campaign, Warren has prided herself on refusing to accept donations from federal lobbyists or political action committees, and has pledged to disband any super PACs that have been established on her behalf.
Warren has not cut herself off from Persist PAC, but that pledge is still publicly accessible on her campaign website. Instead, her position on the subject changed over the past month as her once-promising campaign performed worse than expected in the first three states to cast ballots. When asked if she would disavow Persist PAC, she said,” Count me in, I’ll lead the charge,” according to her statement to reporters on February 20 in Nevada. ” But that’s how it has to be. It’s impossible to imagine that a large number of people keep them while only one or two don’t.
