US aircraft authorities are prepared to allow DOGE CEO Elon Musk to totally restructure the program, according to Transportation Secretary Dean Duffy.
Hardy speaking on Fox’s Hannity program, expressed willingness to allow the efficiency-focused staff to create a new air traffic control system at” the speed of business, no bureaucracy”, citing serious modernisation needs.
This announcement comes after the most significant US flight accident in roughly 25 times, when a Blackhawk helicopter collided with an American Airlines jet and killed 67 people, including all of the passengers and crew.
Duffy explained his choice to include the area entrepreneur after speaking at a conference of state Department of Transportation officials on Wednesday. He explained to the network that the founders of Tesla and X believe a modernized aircraft system could be put into place in less than 12 weeks.
” Sean, I was talking to Elon. I said,’ what can we do this in, Elon? Two and a half, three times, may we make this happen?’ And he was like,’ No, no. Two and a half, three times. No. We could do this in one time ‘”.
Burke appears to be pleased that Musk’s DOGE staff members are involved. We’ll move at the rate of business rather than the rate of government and state, he said,” when you have these 22 year old young people who are wise and can join and give us good counsel.”
Hardy suggested that Democrats ‘ opposition stems from Musk’s involvement. ” We’re using World War Two technology. And it should have been updated, you know, 10, 20, 30 years earlier. And so, again, I think Democrats best now, they’re annoyed about Elon Musk”.
However Rep. Tim Kennedy (D-N. Y. ) expressed deep worries about Musk’s lack of knowledge in air traffic control. He emphasized the poor timing and said it would be wrong to grant authority to someone with no related experience, especially in the wake of a new horrible incident in Washington, DC.
Also, Rep Jerry Nadler (D-N. Y. A Transportation Committee member, a member of the organization, warned of more aerospace accidents and possible ground operation problems.
But, Duffy defended Musk’s possible engagement, citing his efforts in storage systems, a watch apparently shared by Donald Trump.
