In Bangladesh, forty people have been detained in a raid that was started after a violent assault on student activists was carried out while an Awami League leader’s apartment was being vandalized in the Gazipur region.
According to a government statement, the operation was called” Operation Devil Hunt” and was initiated when criminals “linked to the fallen autocratic plan” attacked a group of individuals, leaving them seriously injured. The assault took place when Mozammel Haque, a previous Liberation War affairs minister, attacked his home.
