With an aim to reduce inefficient government spending, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Effectiveness has enshrined a myriad of federal government agencies.
Democrats have criticized the team’s reach, expressing fret that Musk has too much command over political operations.
But, President Donald Trump’s support of the group, which is expected to remain short-lived but effective, has given them broad exposure to their objective of cutting possible trillions in spending.
