According to Rolling Stone, Geoff Payne, the father of Liam Payne, allegedly attempted to take his son to a medical facility before his death.
After Liam was admitted to a hospital in” major problem” in April 2024, the One Direction singer’s father requested support. Liam started 2024 in an unpredictable state and entered treatment in Spain parallel with his last single release,’ Teardrops’, but departed before completing treatment, Daily Mail reported.
Geoff reportedly attempted to act following his recurrence with his son’s substance abuse issues, but Liam turned down the suggestion of a treatment facility. During this time, Liam’s associates were apparently anxious about a North American tour, considering his inadequate condition.
The song missed many commitments to his single’s promotion, including scheduled appearances and performances.
Universal Republic, Liam’s U. S. report brand, terminated their contract with him one month before his death, citing numerous concerns including his welfare. A source told Rolling Stone that the brand chose to end the relationship rather than to keep out of the music industry.
By September, the Universal Republic had finished its constitutional isolation. Studies suggest that around this time, Liam appeared to be improving whilst residing at a Wellington, Florida shirt club. He occupied himself with creative endeavors, music, and sport actions.
