No member of Congress has always delivered a floor address in a manner comparable to the one that Rep. Mace from South Carolina delivered on Monday. With three Republican people sitting behind her — Reps. Anna Paulina Luna, Lauren Boebert, and Victoria Spartz — Mace described herself as “going burned world” in accusing her ex-fiancé and several other people by brand of physical abuse, assault, and sex trafficking against her and other women.

Mace had already gone to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division ( SLED ) with the allegations. “SLED opened an inspection regarding allegations of rape, abuse, and pornography on Dec. 14, 2023, after being contacted by the United States Capitol Police”, a Wagon spokeswoman said in a speech. ” Since that time, SLED has conducted several interviews, served multiple search permits, and has a well-documented case report that will be available for transfer upon the conclusion of the case”.
Mace’s ex-fiancé, Patrick Bryant, released a statement denying Mace’s complaints. ” I absolutely deny these complaints. I take my name critically and will work with any legal procedures that may be necessary.
Bryant is the CEO and companion of a software development company that has headquarters in Charleston, S. C., and Washington, D. C.
The acts that Mace claims occurred are horrifying.  ,
In her statement, Mace accused Bryant and three different men of carrying out” some of the most heinous crimes against women thinkable,” but she claimed they had not been charged despite receiving information from the prosecution.
The First District Congresswoman claimed that four people from Sullivan’s Island, the Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant, and Rock Hill had a plot to murder and get unwarranted photos and videos of young women.
She added that Bryant assaulted her when she confronted him about the information he allegedly found.
She added that she was unexpectedly blacked out when one of the men visited a house in 2022 and was served two small bottles of vodka beer. She claimed that one of the video showed her and that she had seen numerous clips of women who were dressed or under abuse.

” Tonight is about fairness for me, and now is about fairness for all of the people that you all raped, that you all filmed, that you all photographed, that you all exploited for times”, Mace said on the ground. The congresswoman is protected from slander by the Constitution’s” Speech and Conversation Clause”, which gives her congressional immunity. While the House is in treatment, she cannot be sued for anything she says on the floor.
Mace even went after South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, accusing him of “deliberate difficulties’ in investigating the charges after being provided with’ clear-cut and dry proof’ that included videos, photos, and witnesses”, according to WSCS.
Mace is considering a run for South Carolina governor, as is Wilson.  ,
During her 53-minute floor speech, Mace went into agonizing detail about the ordeal.  ,
On the floor, Mace stood beside a giant posterboard labeled” PREDATORS”, with her ex-fiancé and the other men’s photos marked with their names. She had displayed a posterboard with Wilson’s face, describing him as a” DO NOTHING ATTORNEY GENERAL”. In a , lengthy statement, Wilson’s office firmly denied Mace’s claims, saying the office “has not received any reports or requests for assistance from any law enforcement or prosecution agencies regarding these matters”.
Some of the speech described what she called her own low point: Fleeing her home, going “into hiding” and experiencing PTSD after she claimed she discovering alarming videos on her ex-fiancé’s phone, and later, security cameras. At other points, she accused the men of what she called “premeditated, calculated exploitation” of other women, including some who were underage. She claimed she had found 10, 633 separate hidden-camera videos detailing these claims.

Mace claims that the authorities have “proof” of many of her accusations. The evidence may be only circumstantial, which would explain the continuing investigation. In this case, the police do not have enough evidence to charge anyone, which could be one of the causes of Mace’s attempted fire at the hands of South Carolina police and prosecutors.
It’s a strange case that I’m sure we’ll get more clarification on later.
