The U. S. Attorney’s Office, alongside law enforcement agencies in Tennessee, has unveiled an indictment against several individuals with connections to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua ( TdA ). The results of a joint investigation spanning Nashville and Texas were shared by acting U.S. Attorney Robert McGuire along with representatives from the Metro Nashville Police Department ( MNPD), the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation ( TBI ), and other federal agencies.
According to Metro Police Chief John Drake,” Two of the accused are accused of using their relations to the Cuban group Tren De Aragua to frighten people.” Eight people are facing human smuggling charges in Middle Tennesee as of right now, and two are connected to Tren De Aragua. @FOXNashville photograph. twitter.com/TL6UcRDTb4

The research focuses on a alleged sex smuggling ring that allegedly targets Venezuelan women. As part of a wider human trafficking operation linked to TdA, these ladies apparently were lured to the United States with the hopes of a better career before being forced to perform sex acts under the influence of threats.
Authorities are scheduled to make an announcement regarding the release of a multi-count indictment on Tuesday that involves several defendants and addresses allegations involving human trafficking and professional sex exploitation.
