Before President Donald Trump greeted him at the president’s guest home, Elon Musk greeted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Before Trump met him, Musk met Modi at the Blair House, a visitor house across the street from the White House. Modi and Trump will spend two weeks in the country to talk about U.S.-Indian connections.
” Their discussion also touched on chances to develop participation in emerging technology, innovation, and great governance”, India’s international department said in a statement.
Modi said their conference also touched on area, freedom, systems, and development in India. Musk’s business, Starlink, has long wanted to launch in India, but Musk has clashed with American businessman Mukesh Ambani’s firm in recent months regarding how India should give variety for satellite services.
Given that Musk has no political status, the decision to join with Modi at Blair House is fairly extraordinary. He has met with other world officials with and without Trump, and has often been by his side during significant political campaigns.
In December, Musk joined Trump’s second visit after the vote with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He also traveled with Trump on his first international trip following his election to Paris, where he met French President Emmanuel Macron. In New York, he also met Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, whom he called “precious talent” and “even more lovely on the inside than she is on the outside.”
Musk holds over$ 15 billion in federal contracts, most of which are between NASA and his company SpaceX.  , The White House did not respond to the Washington Examiner’s request for comment regarding Musk and Modi’s meet.

India’s relations with other European countries are still strained as a result of Modi’s decision to reject the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Modi, nevertheless, has boasted about the relation he had with Trump in Trump’s second term and is looking to improve his country’s ties with the West.
Modi’s visit also came as Trump announced rises in taxes on Thursday with U. S. buying partners , to meet the tax rates that various states demand on exports, saying on social press,” TODAY IS THE BIG ONE: RECIPROCAL TARIFFS!! “!
