Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with US national security advisor Michael Waltz on Thursday, where he stated that India has always had a wonderful friendship.
The two officials opened the intergovernmental meeting by greeting one another with a shake of arms.
After the conference, PM Modi took his profile on X and said that he had a great debate on defence, technology and safety.
Prime Minister Modi arrived in the US investment on Wednesday night to discuss diplomatic issues with President Donald Trump.
S Jaishankar, the NSA, and the other members of the conference attended.
PM Modi, who is one a two-day attend to the US, is staying at the Blair House, the President’s Guest House, where the Prime Minister held debate with US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday.
” Congratulated her on her confirmation. Discussed different aspects of the India-USA connection, of which she’s always been a solid votary”, Modi said on X.
Only hours before to her conference with PM Modi, Gabbard took the oath as the seventh Director of National Intelligence before Trump.
At the Blair House, PM Modi will also have the opportunity to meet with Vivek Ramaswamy, the CEO of Tesla, and Elon Musk, the CEO of India.
According to Reuters, Musk, who has been appointed as a special US government employee and heads the Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE ), may speak with him about Starlink’s plans for India.
PM Modi may also join Indian-origin businessman and Republican president from Ohio, Vivek Ramaswamy. Prior to that, he had entered the White House campaign and resigned.
The Indian-born entrepreneur ended his political campaign and backed Donald Trump, who he had previously referred to as the “best chairman of the 21st century,” with his support for him. He gained popularity for his outspoken debate performances.
Importantly, this is PM Modi’s initial trip to the United States since Donald Trump took office for a second term.
