Signaling another potential gain for the new Trump administration, the U. S. Marine Corps is on pace to reach its fiscal year 2025 recruiting targets, The Federalist has learned.
Speaking with The Federalist, Marine Corps Recruiting Command official Jim Edwards revealed that the unit is “on record” to fulfill its full power arrival mission for this year, which is set at 32, 835 recruits. That number is “based on existing labor forecasts”, according to Edwards.
The Marine Corps Recruiting Command is on time to fulfill its mission, according to Edwards,” Our Marine Recruiters work diligently in every society across the country to get and empower high quality individuals to engage.”
The Marine Corps is the only branch of the military to regularly achieve its recruiting objectives in recent years. The Navy, Air Force, Army, and Coast Guard have struggled to bring in fresh recruits, a difficulty which military specialists have, in piece, attributed to the Biden administration’s development of racist La ideology and fatal foreign policy plan.
Many branches only succeeded in achieving their FY2024 hiring goals after implementing other significant policy changes and abide by previously established standards.
Regarding the Marine Corps, Edwards noted that branch recruiters have seen a” steady increase in productivity” since January 2024, and that such” success” has continued into FY2025, which began in October. In fact, he added,” Marine Recruiters are]currently ] outperforming” their recruiting numbers” when compared to the same timeframe in FY24″.
Our Marine Recruiters ‘ tireless efforts are directly attributable to their success, according to Edwards, while our Service is also constantly looking for ways to improve their success, she said. We recently increased the number of Marine Recruiters, reorganized geographic responsibilities to acquaint ourselves with demographic shifts, improved the enlistment process at Military Entrance Processing Stations, and consistently sought appropriate funding for our marketing and advertising initiatives.
The most recent revelation is good for the Trump administration, which has reportedly seen an increase in the number of recruits enlisting in the Army. U.S. Army Recruiting Command revealed last week in an X post that its recruiters “had their most productive December in 15 years by enlisting 346 Soldiers daily.”
Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, issued his own X-post, presumably confirming that the branch had set a new recruiting record for December. He subsequently added,” In January 2025, the Army hit its best recruiting number in 15 YEARS”.
” BOTTOM LINE: America’s youth want to serve under the bold &, strong’ America First ‘ leadership of @realDonaldTrump”, Hegseth wrote.
The administration’s claim was disputed by former Biden Army Secretary Christine Wormuth, who claimed to Fox News that the” Army’s recruiting started getting better much earlier”.
However, it’s not yet clear how other branches of the armed forces have performed in terms of recent hiring numbers.
When asked what their respective recruiting numbers for December 2024 and January 2025 were, representatives from the Air Force and Coast Guard acknowledged the request but did not respond prior to publication. The Navy did not respond to The Federalist’s request for comment.
