In Peru, a ridiculous activity that police officers dressed as tapir carried out a drug raid caught everyone’s interest.
The event, captured on video in Lima on Valentine’s Day, shows the dressed official apprehending a presumed drugs smuggler.
The agent is seen attempting to enter the building, subduing the believe, and putting him in handcuffs.
During the research, authorities reported finding more than 1,700 packages of methamphetamine and weed.
According to Daily Mail, the recording ends with the dressed official being photographed alongside the suspect and the seized items displayed on a board.
This procedure was executed by Peru’s Escuadron Verde, a professional anti-drugs product known for using colorful masks during functions on events like Valentine’s Day, Halloween and Christmas.
The product has recently employed hero wigs including Spiderman, Captain America, Thor and Black Widow during attacks.
Col Pedro Rojas, the unit’s captain, stated: ‘ On this occasion, Valentine’s Day, partner’s morning, we sought to colour ourselves with the personality of the tapir.’

Also, last December in Lima, an official dressed as Santa Claus apprehended two offenders dealing heroin and marijuana from a property.
According to UN information, Peru ranks among the nation’s major producers of coca leaves and heroin. Coca leaves production region increased by 18 % in a government study from June to 2022, according to a report from the government. The majority of cultivation occurs in protected places and indigenous Amazon communities close to Portuguese and Brazilian edges.
Officials estimate that 90 percent of cocaine’s consumption is unlawful, with cultivation increasing annually since 2015. However, coca leaves chewing for power and altitude sickness continues to be legitimate.
