The New York Times does discuss how the party may “win up the voters who moved toward” Donald Trump with Democrat leaders in one of its podcasts over the course of the month. I’ll just go ahead and describe what each issue is likely to say, which is some variance of” We need better communication and advertising plan, and regarding our plans, no alterations necessary”.
In the first episode of the series, newly sworn-in Democrat Senator Ruben Gallego of Arizona danced the same way his group has been doing it since November. On the one hand, he claimed that Democrats failed to “meet the time”, and on the other, he didn’t title a single one of his group’s plans that voters rejected.
Like every other Democrat head, Gallego blamed the party’s defeat on everything but its outrageous policies, which immediately sparked exotic inflation, flooded the nation with millions of migrants without-paying, and sparked two international hot wars that are squandering significant amounts of American resources and attention.
The meeting was one of my favorites because of Gallego’s analysis of the best ways for his party to talk with voters, which Democrats consistently refer to as a study of how to communicate with nonverbal prehistoric tribes. He won his vote by less than 100, 000 vote ( against Kari Lake ). ” I mean, so one of the things I did is I do number day sandwiches at job sites, straight, during the poll”, he said. ” So I did get set up, knowing when the 5: 30 a. m. change was coming off, and I’d laid up sandwiches. And I’d hands out sandwiches to the fellas, and I’d speak to them about life. And we need to know where they are. We have to know what they’re hearing”.
Gallego continued,” The one dude who heard it from WhatsApp, or the one fella who is listening to speak radio,” is how working-class Latino people are forming their political views. He said,” There’s no one saying like, Well, actually, I heard from another person that Democrats are actually doing this. Doesn’t occur. It just doesn’t occur because there’s no way for us to give them that knowledge, because we’re not going to where they are”.
This is the irritating language Liberals excel at when they either have no idea what they’re talking about, or, more frequently, don’t want to say they’ve made a royal chaos on the bed. Liberals can’t argue their case on WhatsApp or talk television. Yes, they do. They’re not at some tough risk of the medium. They’re invited everyday. However, the number of citizens who are interested in their products is decreasing.
In another part of the meeting, Gallego offered up my beloved reason for the Democrat political disappointment of 2024: They weren’t active showing up on podcasts. What’s the difference, he said, is that the way Trump communicates is actually more likely to turn in younger Latino men because where they gather their information and where they listen to politics is where Trump is more frequently than where we are. ” He’s on podcasts all the time. He’s at U. F. C. fights. He’s at all these places where people actually perceive him as a true quote-unquote man. Democrats were also notified of that. We needed to get out there”.
Gallego added that he “wanted President Biden to attend the Copa America game and sit next to some Latino celebrities.” Of Democrats, he said,” Let’s go to some boxing matches, right? Let’s take some Democrats to boxing matches where a lot of Latinos are. If not for the reasons the senator had hoped for, it would have been entertaining to watch. ( I find it hilarious to imagine Charles Schumer and Nancy Pelosi pretending to enjoy mingling with minorities. )
It’s all the same. They claim that their issues stem from their inability to speak some ambiguous but ostensibly complex language ( “quote unquote man” ), and that they have no idea how they destroyed everything with the devastation they adopted.
Joe Biden wouldn’t be popular if he was invited to a cage match. Embarking Kamala Harris out to sell empanadas would not have any impact. There isn’t a podcast that could have persuaded voters with middle-class incomes that their finances were stable.
At the end of this week, the Times will interview a different Democrat. He will say the same thing as Gallego.
