On Monday, Costa Rica announced that it would also play a role in U. S. imprisonment ideas. President Rodrigo Chaves Robles ‘ business stated in a speech that” Costa Rica will continue to be a world leader in philanthropic issues that the Government of Costa Rica agreed to cooperate with the United States in the relocation of 200 unlawful immigrants to their country.

Additionally, the statement claimed that Costa Rica would” serve as a bridge” between the migrants as the United States works to bring them back to their birthplaces. The International Organization for Migration, a UN agency that will also take care of the migrants before they are returned to their home countries, will oversee the process, which is fully funded by the United States.  ,
On Wednesday, the flight is scheduled to arrive in the Central American country. It will land at Juan Santamaria International Airport, which is just outside San Jose, the nation’s capital, in the Alajuela Province. Upon arrival, they’ll be transported to Corredores, a canton in the country’s Puntarenas Province, near the Panamanian border, where they will stay in a migrant shelter. About 200 people will be traveling on the flight, according to the New York Times, most of whom will be from Central Asia and India.  ,

During his earlier trip to Latin America earlier this month, Rubio and Chaves met. The Costa Rican president said the following during their joint press appearance:  ,
On a different note, it is a great honor, on a personal level, Mr. Secretary, to receive this visit from such a high-level official from our main ally, the United States of America, Mr. Marco Rubio. I think the relationship between the two countries is strong, where we can come to terms with what we want for our respective populations.  , We want prosperity.  , We want peace.  , We want law and order. We want people to have the right to be happy and pursue their own happiness in our societies and our states, where they can prosper. And that is why we have a long history of collaborating with the US.
During this visit, we were able to outline our ongoing cooperation roadmap with this new administration.  , And I believe that we reached significant agreements around illegal immigration. We are aware that Costa Rica is a migration destination and one of the wealthiest nations in Latin America. We also understand that we must intensify our fight against international organized crime, which Mr. Secretary has generously offered to continue supporting and to support us with the waivers that would freeze aid for our nation in that area.
I hope we see more of these Latin American nations collaborating with us to enforce immigration laws, which is encouraging. When our borders are open, as I’ve written before, it has an impact on the law-abiding citizens of these nations as well. But the media doesn’t always like to report on that. They only want to show you a select few people who are crying at the Mexican border and make you feel bad for wanting stronger national security.  ,

As someone who has spent a lot of time in Costa Rica in recent years, I’ve first-hand witnessed and heard about it. South American gang members and other violent criminals frequently wreak havoc on these countries while attempting to enter the United States. Not only are we happy to see him gone, but so is the rest of the world.  ,
