While republicans aren’t the biggest followers of national power, we do like being law-abiding citizens. One of the main distinctions between American right and left is this. Political leaders from across the country have determined that doubling down on their lunacy and ignoring President Trump’s professional orders, virtually all of which are well-liked by the majority of the American people, is the best way to deal with the crushing battle that they suffered in the last presidential election. Maine opted to ignore his executive order regarding trans athletes, throwing its first significant foot-stomping meltdown in the wake of Trump’s return.

President Donald Trump’s day-one executive order, which officially acknowledges there are only two sexes and keeps women-only spaces from men, was officially opposed by Maine’s Department of Education ( DOE ) on Tuesday.
The DOE’s focus notice stated that the Executive Order” Defending Ladies from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government” only applies to Federal government/Federal state authorities and does not impede the enforcement of Maine laws or local school board guidelines.
Even suggesting that any state’s public schools operate independently of the federal government is patently absurd. The opposition would crumble if the Maine Department of Education’s federal funding were to be discontinued immediately. While the Maine DOE engages in illegal activity, the state-sponsored discrimination against female athletes continues unabated. A biological male student defeated his female competitors in the Maine State Class B Championship for pole vault for girls, according to a press release that my editor Paula received. Just two years prior, John, now going by” Katie”, placed 5th , in boys ‘ pole vault”.
The following story is well known to SFK readers, but I find it to be repetitive whenever I write about this subject. In high school and college, my daughter competed in cross-country and track. Her high school years were spent competing in Southern California, where it is likely that the trans boys problem had been encountered frequently. The cross-country and track scene in a high school in SoCal is FANTASTIC. The first round of cross-country qualifying for the post-season was always held at Mt. San Antonio College was a school year-round, and the Goodyear blimp flew overhead for coverage. There were countless people there. She ran from 2012 to 2016 and there has never been a whisper about a transitioning boy vying against the girls.

It never happened during her college years ( 2016-20 ) either. I don’t mean that we just got lucky and she didn’t have to compete against a male, I mean it just wasn’t happening. If it were, I probably would have had a lot of legal bills. possibly an orange jumpsuit or two as well.  ,
The trans madness in athletics is a Biden-era cancer that has to be eradicated. Democrats blather on about being the greatest women’s champions. The Democrats are once more full of bad blood by allowing biological men to ruin years of preparation and young girls and women’s dreams.
Where are the prominent feminists who are speaking out on this subject? They’re transitioning too. They no longer defend gender equality but instead accept that the war against women they once bemoan. Our daughters are not protected from the shrieking Haridans who have been pretending to want a better future for all women for the past 50 years.  ,
Beyond athletics, no children are safe from the Democrats. If they manage to make it through the abortion gauntlet, they’re at risk of being groomed and genitally mutilated. We recently removed a president who had a bad taste for young girls. While he was in office, the presidential limousine should have been a windowless van.  ,
Every Democratic official and public school employee who supports having boys beat up on girls in sports should be made to explain their position to the assembled crowd of young female athletes.  ,
