In a joint Fox News interview with Sean Hannity on Tuesday night, President Donald Trump and it businessman Elon Musk presented a united before and defended their tireless efforts to overhaul the federal government.
Trump repeatedly praised Musk’s knowledge and business acumen, while Musk constantly praised Trump for his “love” for the leader.
Their friendly exchange immediately caused Hannity to consider a sibling-like bond between the two men.
” I feel like I’m interviewing two brothers around”, Hannity said.
Trump and Musk had a combined interview before the leader sat down for a significant meeting with either first lady Melania Trump or vice president JD Vance, who he recently claimed was not his replacement. It is likely a mark of Donald Trump’s faith in Musk, who has largely sheltered problems over the past few days.
The Department of Government Performance, under the direction of Elon Musk, is frantically reducing national spending and workforce. When Donald Trump signed an executive order last year mandating organizations to follow DOGE’s work, Musk joined him in the Oval Office and sat down for questions from the media, giving him a signal of his unwavering aid for him.
” Basically, Elon called me”, the leader said,” ‘ You know they are trying to push us off,’ and I said,’ Definitely,'” Donald Trump told Hannity.

The senator mocked President Musk by saying that he would be attending a Cabinet meeting tomorrow at 8o’clock. ” And I say it’s just so evident, they’re so terrible at it. I once believed they were skilled in it.
Additionally, the senator asserted that Musk’s efforts may result in an astounding number of money saved. ” I think he’s going to find a trillion money”, Donald Trump said. However, I believe it’s a pretty modest portion in comparison to what it is.
Democrats have mocked the billionaire X user as” President Musk,” which the president and Musk sought to underplay in the discussion.
” I used to be adored by the Left, you know … less so these time”, Musk commented about the terrible episodes from Democrats. ” They call it like’ Trump disorder illness.’ And you don’t know how true this is until, like … you didn’t cause with people”.
On Presidents Day, protesters , across the country  , took to the streets to show their opposition to Musk, who has facilitated the fire, offering of delayed defections, and cuts of hundreds of national staff.
Over 10, 000 national staff have been fired through “large-scale reductions” in the state labor and another 75, 000 federal workers accepted the , president’s” Fork in the Road” delayed withdrawal present.
Democratic politicians and unions have sued the administration for allegedly preventing the state labor from being cut in part because of Musk’s efforts with DOGE.
” I guess we have to get overachieving our goal of doing something right. You know, they wouldn’t get complaining so much if we weren’t doing anything useful”, Musk added later in the Tuesday interview. ” What we are really trying to do here is regain the will of the citizens through the leader, and what we’re finding is that there’s an unaccountable bureaucracy”.
Musk argued that the federal government was “implacably opposed to the leader and the Cabinet,” and he defended the job that DOGE has done as a mission given to Donald Trump by the government.
However, on Monday, the White House said in a legal registration that Musk is not classified as working at DOGE and , has only been advising the leader.
” I mean, winning the election is really the chance to fix the technique,” I said. It is not fixing the program itself”, Musk said.
” Therefore, it’s an opportunity to correct the program and to regain the power of politics, and people. … It’s hilarious how, frequently, when these problems occur, the thing that they’re accusing the management of is what they are innocent of”, he continued. ” They’re saying that things are being done are unlawful, but what they are doing is illegal. They are accountable for the murder they accuse us of.

Donald Trump echoed similar responses to Musk, claiming that reviewers, Democrats, and the legacy media were implementing” a deceitful work”.
” They’re but bad for the country, so dangerous, and so bad”, the president said.
