In conversation with a Russian group to put an end to the issue, President Donald Trump criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky‘s steps during its three-year conflict with Russia.
” I believe I have the energy to put an end to this war, and I believe it’s going quite well. But now I heard’ Oh, effectively, we weren’t invited’. Well, you’ve been there for three times. You should have ended it three times”, Trump said during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago house. You ought to have not begun it. You could have made a deal”.
The president made reference to Zelensky’s objections to a group from the United States meeting with Russian leaders in Saudi Arabia this week to end the conflict.
Secretary of State , Marco Rubio, Middle East specific minister Steve Witkoff, and national security adviser Mike Waltz , met with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and President Vladimir Putin’s foreign policy adviser, Yuri Ushakov.
After years of fighting each other, the two parties came to terms with beginning the process of ending the conflict and establishing diplomatic relations between the United States and Russia.
Importantly, neither Zelensky nor any Western head was included in the discussions, raising fears that they were being sidelined. The initial date for Zelensky’s journey to Saudi Arabia was changed to Wednesday.
Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and the seized parts of the Donbass area, which is where Trump is trying to end, led to billions of dollars being spent by the United States and Western allies to motor billions of dollars into saving Ukraine and putting sanctions on Russia to injure its economy.
Trump also criticized Zelensky over Ukraine’s absence of elections, which Russia is pushing for as part of a peace deal, and his assent rankings.
” We have a position where we haven’t had elections in Ukraine, where we have martial law, effectively martial law in Ukraine, where the head in Ukraine, I mean, I hate to say it, but he’s along at 4 % approval rating”, Trump said. ” And where a land has been blown to smithereens, you got, most of the cities are laying on their sides. The houses are collapsed”.
Zelensky’s approval rating increased to over 90 % as he rallied a national defence against Russia’s war in the first year of the conflict, but his support there has fallen to less than 50 % as the conflict continues for the next season and tens of thousands of Russians have been killed.

However, it’s a bunch, and because Europe has given us a much smaller portion of that, we must match with it.
