Liberals ‘ theatrics about President Donald Trump’s use of executive power conflict with their past. Several Democrat leaders have accomplished more than Trump is currently doing. Amid Democrats ‘ histrionics, story, and hypocrisy, their even consistency is a commitment to see provincial and executive energy used when it expands the condition and the presidency for their goals.
Beyond bemoaning Trump’s activities of , freezing money, deporting , illegal immigrants, imposing , taxes, and blocking people from participating in , women’s athletics, Democrats label these actions existential threats to the state.  ,
Freezing funding for review is dubbed , unconstitutional, despite estimates that the federal government made$ 2.7 trillion in , erroneous payments , since 2003 and created a$ 1.8 trillion , deficit , in fiscal 2024. Deporting unlawful immigrants is labeled , sexist, despite these persons having broken the , rules. Impressive taxes is decried as contractionary, despite the Biden-Harris management having fueled , inflation , throughout their four times. And barring people from women’s sports is called , misogynistic, despite the government’s clear intention to center itself on genetic differences rather than intellectual preferences.
An sarcasm of history supports these dramatics. Joe Biden made a clear and persistent attempt to override the governing principles of the presidency. He frequently sought to shift , scholar debt , to the public tax, even though the Supreme Court had , ruled , against it. So much for Democrats ‘ inflation fears. After he , abused , and abused his parole rights to expand the border, Biden opened it in contravention of his legal obligation to enforce the law.
Biden prematurely issued blanket , pardons , galore, correctly until he left office. For her part, then-presidential member Kamala Harris made it a point of confidence to claim that she would support , abolishing , the legislature to advance pregnancy. There is no telling what she would have done with professional energy if she had held its reins, because Harris diligently refused to let us. Every Democrat political approach rule in soul when not in letter was broken by the Biden-for-Harris switch. And Democrats likewise called for , reordering , the Supreme Court to overturn its conservative lot. Today, Democrats are intentionally , delaying , Trump’s contenders.
Democrats ‘ story of gaining more and more political power
None of this is fresh. The Democratic Party’s history is a series of national power expansions. President Andrew Jackson completely , ignored , a Supreme Court ruling. Woodrow Wilson took unprecedented , power , for the administration during World War I. Franklin Roosevelt afterwards built on Wilson’s norms, after being blocked by various Supreme Court rulings against his expansions of national authority, he moved to , pack , the Supreme Court — only to see the land  , bridle , at his program. Harry Truman repeatedly announced his intention to take control of , railroads , in 1946, finally actually seizing the nation’s steel mills in 1952 — only to have the Supreme Court , strike down , his move.
In the next Democrat administration, John Kennedy had the Bay of Pigs , invasion. Lyndon Johnson used the Gulf of Tonkin , attack , to push America ever deeper into the Vietnam War. Bill Clinton tried to thoroughly remake the nation’s health care system, coming within a Hillary of succeeding. Barack Obama famously announced his intention to govern unilaterally from the Oval Office by , announcing,  ,” I’ve got a pen, and I’ve got a phone” . ,
If a Democrat president were to lead this parade of presidential aggrandizement today, it would undoubtedly be applauded. This realization should cut through today’s obfuscation.  ,
The only consistency in their tableau of histrionics, history, and hierarchy ( the rules don’t apply to these elites ) is that Democrats are quite willing to see the power of the presidency expand by any and all means — as long as it is used to expand government, spending, and generally advance their ends. The reason for today’s situation is simple: The objectives they are now pursuing are so extreme that voters will never agree with them. Enviro-extremism, trans insanity, and open borders: Democrats have no other way to achieve their extremist initiatives than to impose them through an expanded presidency.
Thwarting Trump
Democrats are now using the courts to thwart Trump’s actions. As long as rulings slow Trump, Democrats will , applaud , them. Democrats will, however, curse the courts as they are now, as soon as new decisions overturn the lower courts.  ,
Democrats ‘ real issue is not with gaining more and more presidency. It is not even as much a matter of Trump. And it won’t be so much with the courts when the courts uphold Trump’s actions. The voters of November last year overwhelmingly rejected Democrats ‘ distorted dystopian vision of what America should be.  ,
