Elon Musk, the head of the department of government efficiency ( DOGE ), space exploration, and their long-standing relationship, was praised by US President Donald Trump on Tuesday.
Trump praised Musk for his cleverness in a mutual interview with him on Fox News, making the claim that he couldn’t had found a better person to lead DOGE.
” I wanted someone who was incredibly wise to work with me in terms of the nation.” He’s a head. Yeah. He gets it done. I was looking for someone who was smarter than him. I searched all over. I just couldn’t do it. I don’t get somebody smarter for the country. But this is the point. We settled on this guy”, he said.
Musk responded with a smile, “ Well, thanks for having me. ”
Trump also praised Musk’s, lauding his job with SpaceX, particularly his Starlink satellite system, which has provided critical connection help in disaster-hit areas. Trump recited the visit he made to Musk during the crisis in North Carolina, saying,” He got like thousands of products of this contact and it saved a lot of life. He got it instantly, and I said, that’s quite remarkable. “
Trump also made a sharp remark about how Musk’s team dresses differently than the software billionaire during the interview.
He claims that there are some really talented young people who work for him and don’t truly dress much worse than they do… They dress in just t-shirts, ” Trump said.
The senator also confirmed that Musk had recuse himself from any judgments involving potential conflicts of interest, noting, “If there’s a fight, he won’t get involved. I mean, I had n’t like that, and he would n’t like it. ”
Musk, in turn, praised Trump’s management, calling his 2024 presidential election defeat an “opportunity to repair the system. ” Musk emphasized that the leader ’s professionalism and attention for the British people may lead to better results, stating, “The leader cared. The chairman was capable. And so when you add more empathy and compassion, you get a better offer for Americans. ”
Trump even made some observations about how the media has attempted to divide him and Musk.
“They tried it. Therefore they stopped. Basically, Elon called me. He said, you know, they’re trying to drive us aside… They said, ‘We have breaking information. Elon Musk now has power of the presidency, according to Donald Trump. ’ It’s really so clear. They’re so poor at it, Trump said.
To this, Musk responded” I regard him. I’ve often respected him. I always realized he was correct in some areas. And I’m typically very good at this products. He did Starlink. He engaged in activities that were so advanced that no one knew what they were. ”
