
Five Egyptian and two American sailors were “issued a collective call for help” on Tuesday when an Egyptian vessel was sinking in the Arabian Gulf, according to the US Navy and Coast Guard.
U. S. Central Command shared a photo of the Egyptian vehicle involved in Tuesday’s event in a blog on X, previously Online.
” Great work today by personnel aboard the U. S. Navy ship USS DEVASTATOR (MCM 6 ) and U. S. Coast Guard Cutter ( USCGC ) CLARENCE SUTPHIN JR ( WPC 1147 ) in the Arabian Gulf”, U. S. Central Command stated. ” They rescued , seven sailors in grief who abandoned their vessel, M/V SHAYESTEH”.
The M/V Shayesteh was identified as an Egyptian vehicle by U.S. Central Command, who also pointed out that the ship was operating under a Qatari symbol at the time of the event. According to U. S. Central Command, the screen of the Qatari symbol is” usual” when a vehicle is in “territorial waterways”.

In Tuesday’s declaration, U. S. Central Command explained that the Persian M/V Shayesteh had a” major list” and sent a “mayday call for help”.
” The M/V SHAYESTEH has since sunk”, U. S. Central Command added. The five Egyptian mariners and two American mariners are safe and receiving follow-up clinical care onboard USCGC CLARENCE SUTPHIN JR.
Despite the current hostility between the United States and Iran, the United States Navy and Coast Guard’s save of the Egyptian and Hindu sailors was immediately met with enthusiasm on cultural media.

The United States government rescued Persian sailors from a rescue mission on Tuesday in the Arabian Gulf. The USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group was notified last August by U.S. Central Command that it had saved two Persian sailors from foreign waters.
