Donald Trump, the president of the United States, has once more questioned the country’s choice to fund voter turnout initiatives in India with$ 21 million. Speaking at the FII PRIORITY Summit in Miami, he said,”$ 21 million for voter turnout, why do we need to spend$ 21 million for voter turnout in India? They apparently sought to elect someone different.
” We have got to show the Indian Government. Because we now know that Russia has spent about$ 2,000,000 on our nation, it is a big deal. They paid for some online advertisements for 2000 cash. This is a complete breakthrough”, he added.
Trump pointed out India’s robust economic status and high taxes on US products, saying,” They got a lot of money. They are one of the highest hard nations in the world in terms of GDP. Because their levies are so high, we can scarcely enter it.
Trump continued to have respect for India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi despite his fears. Referring to Modi’s recent visit to the US, he said,” I have a lot of respect for India. I value the prime minister a bit. He really left, as you know, two days ago. But we’re giving$ 21 million for voter participation. It’s vote participation in India. What on, like, voter turnout around? Oh, we’ve done that, I guess. We did$ 500 million, didn’t we? It’s called the lockboxes”.
Trump criticizes US expenditure in Ukraine
Trump also attacked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who he claimed persuaded the US to invest trillions in an “unwinnable war” while shifting the focus to the continuing conflict in Ukraine.
” The United States has spent$ 200 billion more than Europe, and Europe’s wealth is guaranteed, while the United States will find everything back”, Trump asserted. He questioned the returns on such an expense, claiming that Ukraine had received substantially more financial support from the US than from European countries.
In a blog on Truth Social, Trump went further, accusing Zelenskyy of poor leadership and a lack of political accountability. ” On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is’ MISSING. ‘ He refuses to include elections, is quite small in Russian polls, and the only point he was great at was playing Biden ‘ like a violin.’ A despot without votes, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a state left”, Trump wrote.
