Bannon’s admiring of Musk is a turnaround of his previous thoughts on the businessman. He called him a “parasitic improper american” in an appointment just last week.
” Scott Bessent today said Elon’s group in the first 30 days found$ 55 billion of waste, fraud, and abuse”, said Bannon, President Donald Trump’s chief White House strategist during the first several months of his first term. “$ 55 billion, that’s going to add up to six, seven,$ 800 billion. In one quarter, they’ve done that”.

Musk is the founder of DOGE, which has recently claimed$ 55 billion in cuts.
Bannon addressed Musk immediately after his opening speech at CPAC and warmly addressed him.
” You bring out the world’s wealthiest man, Superman, I’m supposed to follow it”, he said. ” I’m really a crazy Scot”.
That is a far cry from his earlier attacks on Musk.
Bannon called Musk a” really bad guy” before Trump’s 2025 opening and recently vowed to keep him out of the White House. He’s called Musk” an armor-piercing tank that’s delivering sarcastic force injury against the operational position” for Trump.
His resentment toward Musk appears to stem from his comparatively recent entrance into the MAGA activity. Bannon was a big impact on Trump’s winning 2016 battle, while Musk has generally come around to Trump within the previous month, especially after the July 2024 death attempt against the government’s life.
Musk hasn’t refrained from jabbing up at Bannon. In a blog on X on Feb. 6, Musk said Bannon “is a fantastic talker, but certainly a great listener. What was he able to accomplish this month? Nothing”.
Bannon, who previously denounced Musk’s appearance with Trump, has acknowledged that he’s “everywhere”.
” Elon’s anywhere, right? It’s excellent. He’s everywhere”, he remarked on Thursday.
Bannon didn’t speak highly of the software tycoon, but he did speak highly of his accomplishments and DOGE.

He added that Trump and his MAGA movement would be remembered more than Musk or himself.
” When they report the story of this era, you ain’t gonna remember me or Elon Musk or Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity, they’re gonna remember two things: Donald Trump and MAGA”, he said.
