Well, folks, it appears that the ever-dramatic Stephen King has resurfaced on X asking his followers,” Did you miss me” ? ,
I’m baaaack! Missed you, did you?

The response is a resounding” You were gone”?
Stephen King was a big deal again, and he wrote a few good books in his perfect, but I always noticed—or cared—when he disappeared. I wasn’t following him, yet his comments also managed to show up in my supply. His bizarre comments about President Trump were anything but sophisticated for a supposedly excellent poet. His anti-Trump remarks on X weren’t intelligent or witty—just senseless love.
Sure enough, only events after announcing his gain, King wasted no time in unleashing his usual anti-Trump language, declaring,” Trump is a treacherous, Putin-loving dickhead! Goes twin for Elon”!
Only wanted to say that Trump is a treacherous, Putin-loving dickhead!
Goes twice for Elon!— Stephen King ( @StephenKing ) February 20, 2025
Really, you’d expect a lot more from someone with his popularity.
This kind of immature name-calling might tantalize his extreme fans, but let’s face it: this is not the zenith of intelligent commentary. It’s ironic, to say the least, considering that shortly after the last election, he jumped ship from Twitter, claiming that” the atmosphere has just become too toxic” . ,

Actually? I wonder why that is.
Really, that’s rich coming from someone whose comments contribute to that very poisoning, and who promptly went straight back to it.  ,
But, there’s also something more entertaining about King’s return.
King announced he was leaving the program back in November, soon after Trump was reelected.  ,
I’m leaving Online. Attempted to stay, but the environment has only gotten very toxic. Observe me on Strands, if you like.
— Stephen King ( @StephenKing ) November 14, 2024
As you can see, King directed his supporters to Fibers, Meta’s Twitter copy. Yet here we are, hardly a few months afterward, and King is now back at X. I think it’s safe to say his time on Strands didn’t go as planned. He probably figured out that X is where the individuals are, even though Elon Musk wants to love it because of Donald Trump’s help.
King even pays for consideration confirmation, by the way.

King has a short story called” Sometimes They Come Back.” Perhaps he should think about writing a movie with the title” They Often Come Back to X”? Why? Because it’s real. When disgruntled socialists make a major decision to leave X, it seems as though they can’t stay away for very long. Why? Because those who enjoy the attention and anger eventually return to this platform, they are more than willing to contribute to the toxicity they claim to despise.  ,

Although King may get up, I believe he won’t miss anyone for good. Rob Reiner, a fellow artist and producer, left for Bluesky but has since gone missing. Other leftist stars have threatened to leave X for other social media platforms just to know how much of their audience would be affected. For instance, George Takei appears to have grasped the notion that X is the place the people truly are.  ,
