Donald Trump told reporters on Friday evening that he would not be visiting Moscow to join with Vladimir Putin on May 9.

Le Point, a French newspaper, reported earlier that the leader may work with Putin to continue negotiations to end the conflict in Ukraine and honor Victory Day, Russia’s event marking the end of World War II.

” No. No, I’m not”, Trump stated when asked if he was planning on traveling to Moscow. Investigators had joined Trump in the Oval Office for Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s swearing-in meeting.

Trump was given a trip to Moscow earlier this month by Putin, even though the White House had not yet made a statement in person. Trump has suggested that Putin and he will meet quickly in Saudi Arabia.

Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine in 2022 was just attributed to former US president Joe Biden and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.

” Yes, Russia attacked, but there was no reason for him to attack”, Trump told Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade during a radio interview Friday night. ” Every day I say,’ Oh, it’s no Russia’s wrong,’ I often get slammed by the false information. But I’m telling you, Biden said the bad stuff, Zelensky said the wrong things, and they got attacked, which was a terrible thing to do, but Russia could have been talked out of it but quickly”.

Trump prominently did not directly respond to a problem at the White House regarding whether or not he thinks Putin is a “dictator.” He had earlier this year used the word to describe Zelensky in its place.

” I believe that President Putin and President Zelensky will need to speak at the same time because, you know what?” In response to a separate issue, the senator said,” We want to stop killing millions of people.

Republican BLAMES ZELENSKY, BIDEN FOR ALLOWING PUTIN TO INVADE UKRAINE

Zelensky has vowed that Ukraine did not sign any serenity agreements with the United States, despite their opposition.

” I believe we have a chance to close the deal,” she said. Trump remarked that I had to ensure that Russia would pursue it. ” It’s a war that would have never happened if I was chairman, but it did happen. But I kept trying, and I want to stop people from dying.
