MSNBC is pulling the plug on Joy Reid’s show,” The ReidOut”, as part of a major reshuffle, Fox News Digital has learned—and I can’t stop laughing. Seriously, there’s no one more deserving of withdrawal. Well, even Rachel Maddow… and very little somebody else at MSNBC.

According to the report,” The ReidOut” has been struggling to hold viewers, averaging just 973, 000 in February 2025—a sharp 28 % drop from the 1.3 million it pulled in during the same month last year. Reid has gained notoriety for her constant anti-Trump language and a number of contentious remarks.
After the November vote, Reid claimed that black girls had lost attention in” saving America”, blaming their supposed despair on white women voters, who turned out in stronger-than-expected numbers for President Trump.
Only last month, she went yet further, wildly comparing Trump’s emigration policies—and his administration as a whole—to Hitler’s Germany and the Holocaust.
In a tale that shocked the TV media industry, one of the most surprising events in new media history occurred in 2018 when Reid reportedly claimed that no one had ever written racist comments on her aged blog,” The Reid Report.” She blashed hackers and claimed to hire the FBI to look into her impossible state, but she became upset on air after her investigation failed.
The MSNBC host then acknowledged that it was improbable that she had been hacked, but that she still regretted for not making the offensive comment. Although she became one of the network’s most well-known progressive pundits, she continued to rise up the show’s ranks and become a punchline to many.

But, don’t assume that just because they’re letting Reid come means they’re replacing her with a more sensible option. In reality, Reid’s 7 p. m. gambling may be taken over by a group that sounds like the layout to a poor joke: Symone Sanders-Townsend, a former spokeswoman for Kamala Harris, Alicia Menendez, daughter of the scandal-ridden ex-Senator Bob Menendez, and Michael Steele, the former RNC chair who’s then an MSNBC standard, and sounds more like a Democrat than Republican these days.

According to a source familiar with the ideas, Reid will mark off from” The ReidOut” for the last moment this year.
MSNBC’s new leader, Rebecca Kutler, is planning to reveal more software changes across dayside, weekends and night, a supply familiar with the plans told Fox News Digital.
Jen Psaki, current host of” Inside with Jen Psaki”, is expected to end up with more airtime. Alex Wagner will continue on the network as a correspondent but is not anticipated to host a 9 p.m. ET program going forward. She was removed from hosting a primetime program when Rachel Maddow decided to stop hosting her show once a week once a night for the first 100 days of the Trump administration.

Naturally, MSNBC refused to comment when reached by Fox News Digital.
Honestly, I’ve never watched MSNBC, save for the occasional clip, so this development doesn’t impact me at all. However, I do know that Reid is the epitome of a nutcase, and her cancellation may be a sign that MSNBC is struggling financially and in terms of ratings.  ,
What a great time to be alive.
