As Ukraine celebrated the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion, Volodymyr Zelenskyy made the suggestion that all prisoners of war should be exchanged for all.
” Russia may relieve Russians. In a conference in Kyiv on Monday, Zelenskyy was quoted as saying, “Ukraine is ready to trade all for all, and this is a good way to start.”
In remarks made to mark the second anniversary of the Russian war, he even called for long-term, lasting serenity in Ukraine this year.
” This year ought to mark the beginning of a genuine, lasting peace.” Puntin won’t grant us harmony or trade it for something. We must achieve peace through unity, power, and wisdom,” Zelensky said.
Earlier, Zelenskyy hailed the “heroism” of Ukraine in giving opposition to Russia’s invasion in the country.
” Three decades of weight. Three decades of love. Three years of absolute bravery of Ukrainians. I am glad of Ukraine! I thank anyone who supports and defends it. Anyone who works for Ukraine. And may the lives of all those who sacrificed their lives for our nation and people get forever,” Zelenskyy wrote in a blog on X.
The launch of what he called a” special military operation” by Russian President Vladimir Putin sparked Europe’s most important conflict since World War II.
Numerous military casualties on both sides are included in the devastating burdens, along with human deaths in Ukraine. Southern and eastern locations are in disrepair as a result of the conflict, forcing millions of people to leave their homes.
Despite initial American unification behind Ukraine and Zelenskyy, the idea of Trump’s White House returning has created uncertainty. At a critical moment in the conflict, this development threatened to undermine critical military and financial aid.
Russian troops continue their northeast unpleasant, while Trump’s political gestures and his reservations regarding Kyiv’s continued support give Moscow some assurance.
