
An American Airlines flight from New York City to India was diverted and escorted over the weekend by two Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft due to a “non-credible” weapon danger.

Kennedy International Airport on Saturday afternoon at around 8:30 p.m. and headed for New Delhi, India’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
