Tom Homan, president of the United States, laments that in his attempts to arrest violent criminals, he is fighting a close fight with Democratic governments that are committed to preventing the arrest and imprisonment of illegal immigrants.
His continued success is being thwarted by the Democratic jurisdictions, also known as” sanctuary cities,” which are causing Homan to try to double the immigration and customs enforcement ( ICE ) presence. According to Homan,” Sanctuary cities didn’t grant us access to jails again,” adding that when an illegal immigrant is detained, they usually get their fingerprints checked against Department of Homeland Security databases so that law enforcement can verify that the illegal alien was only arrested and booked in a jail.
 ,” That upsets me, but we’re not giving up”, Homan tells National Review. Because he has backing from Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE ), Homan pledged to “double” the workforce in sanctuary cities. Even if doing so results in collateral arrests of illegal immigrants without a criminal record as ICE officers successfully locate their intended target, the presence of “make sure we’re doing everything we can protect public safety”
” I talked to Elon Musk yesterday, he’s trying to help us hire more agents”, Homan told National Review over the weekend at the Conservative Political Action Conference ( CPAC ) in Oxon Hill, Md. He stated,” I’ve actually talked to him about how to streamline the onboarding and recruiting processes,” noting that ICE officers can sometimes take months to complete their first year of employment.
In regards to the crackdown of the drug cartels, Homan recommends that the president use military force as well as” to wipe them off the face of the earth.”
According to National Review, Homan has worked as an immigration law enforcement official under six U.S. presidents, starting with Ronald Reagan.
According to Homan, “every president I’ve worked for, including Clinton and Obama, did it because they understood that strong national security cannot exist without border security.” Joe Biden is the first president since he took office and intentionally unsecured the border. It wasn’t mismanagement. It wasn’t incompetence. He caused this to happen”.
