Vivek Ramaswamy, an Indian-American politician, announced his bid for the Ohio governor with a strong proposal to establish the exact civic education for all.
He suggested that every high school senior in Ohio may go the” similar education check” required for legal refugees to be “naturalised” US residents.
He added that this will foster a sense of pride and patriotism among individuals while enabling them to understand American values and background.
According to Ramaswamy,” we need to educate our younger people to be proud of our nation and state and not to be afraid of it.” They may recite the pledge of allegiance and know what being an American means. If you don’t understand the fundamentals of a nation, you doesn’t respect it.
Ramaswamy, 39, initially gained notice as a liberal critic of liberal business policies. He ran for the Republican nomination for president in 2024, but he dropped after placing fifth in the Iowa primaries. He has since firmly supported Donald Trump and his social goals.
He announced his plan, saying,” I am honored to reveal my election to function as the next governor of the state of Ohio.”
Ramaswamy also promised to take Ohio’s place in the” second industrial revolution” in the US.
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump endorsed Ramaswamy, writing on Truth Social,” Vivek Ramaswamy is running for governor of Ohio. I know him well, and he is something unique. He’s fresh, strong, and wise… I vouch for him, and he will have my full and unwavering support.
Elon Musk also showed his aid on X, composing,” Great success, you have my whole confirmation”! Ramaswamy replied,” Bless you, Elon. Come roll”!
Ramaswamy, who was Trump’s competitor in the GOP’s 2024 presidential race, after joined his plan staff. He chose to run for governor of Ohio rather than run for an administrative position overseeing Depends alongside Musk.
