    Veterans Affairs secretary reveals almost $2 billion saved in cut contracts

    On Tuesday, Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins announced that his organization had saved practically$ 2 billion by ending arrangements he felt were no longer required.

    The Department of Veterans Affairs ‘ approximately 1, 000 people were laid off as a result of the statement. According to the Office of the Inspector General, almost&nbsp, 3, 000 shortages&nbsp, were now occurring&nbsp, across the office next year.

    Collins explained that these arrangements included education, administrative help, Microsoft PowerPoint lessons, and meeting moments. In a videos posted to X, Collins mocked the now-defunct arrangements.

    ” People, if you don’t know how to run PowerPoint presentations, learn. It’s a guide on your computer. Go know for completely it’s okay”, Collins said. ” Get your own records. Wow. If you need one of my pen, I’ll send some to you.
