Imagine working secretly for a revolutionary tool for government clarity and accountability, playing a “game” with billions of dollars in interest when your identity is suddenly revealed for the world to discover. People have been murdered for far less. What do you call that?

DataRepublican ( small r ) calls it” Tuesday afternoon”.
Regular users around know that over the last many days, I’ve become a big fan of Data Republican’s tireless work. On her initiative ( and at her own expense ), she’s made it possible for anyone, anywhere to investigate the dirty money flows that start with your paycheck, travel through Washington, and from there into the hands of countless questionable NGOs.
It’s a wonder of our modern era that a novice sleuth, even one with a high level of skill, can develop those tools and make them available to everyone. Data R is the kind of people that, in a reasonable state, we’d button awards on. Otherwise, one painted a specific on her up.
” I have been doxxed”, Data R revealed on Tuesday. ” Rather than let others control the narrative, I am addressing this immediately”.
” My name is Jennica Pounds. I recently resigned from my work to do DOGE-adjacent work full-time. My final objective is to collaborate with the Administration to reduce waste and increase efficiency, despite the fact that my background check is still being conducted.
I hesitated over republishing her name here, even though Jennica’s blog has been viewed ( as of this writing ) 4.5 million times. It simply feels somehow sordid, participating even in some small way in what happened, in no little portion because she “gave up everyone for this—my health, my career—because I believe in what I am doing”.

The stakes are too high for Jennica’s doxxer to remain anonymous on my site despite the fact that these online activities typically detract from my ability to play on.

Reading her post last night taught me that Data R is deaf and was being harassed by another deaf person after her ( somewhat ) fabricated appearance on a News Nation video podcast. She was on the present to talk about a$ 17 million USAID offer to an NGO, and how” the only thing they did with that money was to create a bad Little show” that received 200 views per event. That’s 200, not 200 thousand or anything.
” Now you know why they doxxed @DataRepublican”, Vigilant Fox posted at the previous link,” she’s exposing the entire corrupt NGO system”.
More:
I am 100 % Deaf and nonverbal. I’m not any less Deaf because of my lack of reading comprehension. It is the result of an expressive dysphasia, a language condition that is related to my autism, that impairs my ability to learn to speak clearly in real-time. This impacts my signing, speaking, and even writing, though writing allows me more time to correct mistakes. My interpreter and I work through my talking points for hours to make sure she understands what I mean, not just what I say.

For whatever it’s worth, I’ve always found Data R’s posts perfectly clear. Despite the difficulties she encounters in writing them, her handicap does not interfere with the clarity of her communications.  ,
Let me respond to your question in a few words.
When you pose a threat to the system, they only follow you. Keep going—you’re doing incredible work.

Your name isn’t Data Republican? What? ?
In all seriousness, you can certainly take the dox as evidence that you did something right for the people.

You’re over the target. The best way to approach them is to drag them into the light, where you have support.

Cynical Publius said,” We’ve got your back Data R. Do you want us to make the doxxer famous”?
” I’d rather get them reported”, she replied. They are also publishing my location, too.
Ugh.
Even Data Mom stepped in.
Sharing this post is challenging. I share almost all of her posts to show my support for her, but this makes it seem so much more serious. Our family has been prayed over by so many of her followers. Thank you! I intend to keep supporting her and calling out those who are not joining the… https ://t.co/psRwXjzJGs— MOMof DataRepublican ( @data_republican ) February 26, 2025
Maybe the most touching of all was United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin, a Missouri Republican, who replied to Jennica’s announcement,” Please contact me or my office“. Martin and Data R, you’ll be pleased to know, have established communications.  ,

Another data guy, Richard Crowe, added,” Upon further reflection, I realized the doxxing was an indirect attack on all of us. If Data were to retire from this role ( which is completely understandable, given tonight’s events ), the American people would lose her insights to better understand what is being hidden”.
Don’t worry, she isn’t giving up. ” I am not backing down and I look forward to serving the Administration”, Jennica assured her followers.
I’ve never subscribed to anyone’s X feed or Substack, but as soon as I’m done with this column, I’ll go subscribe to DataR’s. She’s earned at least that much.
