Socialism is common!
More than a third of American people have positive opinions, according to a Pew investigation.  ,
How is this possible?  ,
Little has brought more sorrow– first in the Soviet Union, therefore in China, Cuba, Nicaragua, then Venezuela…  ,

Because of the videos that are posted by well-known but economically illiterate people, one reason why young people help communism is that they are supportive of it.
TikTok star Madeline Pendleton has 1.6 million users. She says in her new video,” Socialism is working better than capitalism 93 % of the time”!
Where does she get 93 %?
From a study published in 1986 by self-described Socialists in the Journal of Health Services.
The authors quickly disregard the wealth of the United States and other wealthy nations and contrast socialist markets with” capitalist” nations like Somalia, Rwanda, and Uganda, some of which were at war.
It’s but terrible. But based on that, Pendleton tells her fans,” We have all the statistics showing that communism does work”.
She also cites socialism as a result of its “increased life expectancy.”
That’s drivel, also. People live longest in capitalist countries like Japan ( 85 years ) and South Korea ( 84 years ). Even in the United States (79 years ), where more of us die young because we drive more ( car accidents ), eat more, shoot each other more often and try more dangerous drugs, we still live longer than people in China (78 years ).
Socialism is also superior, says Pendleton, because of” the 90-100 % home-ownership rates”.
” One hundred percent”, of course, is just dumb, but China ( if you believe the party’s statistics ) does have 90 % homeownership.  ,
But not under communism! Just after privatizing industrial housing did they succeed in this. Before 1998, when Chinese cover was still communist, only 20 % of Chinese individuals owned homes.

China is a topic of conversation among various social media actors. ” Socialists worked in China”! says TikToker Dante Munoz. ” They lifted over 800 million people from poverty” . ,
Again, it’s true that in the last 50 years, China’s GDP went from$ 156 per capita to more than$ 12, 000. However, that only became apparent once China abandoned true communism and began to embrace areas. Hong Kong, which adopted actual , socialism, raised per capita GDP to$ 50, 000.
Before China reformed, millions of people died of hunger.
Another crazy social media celebrity, JT Chapman, tells his nearly 2 million YouTube subscribers:” The key concept that unites all socialists is maximizing independence… liberalization of power”.
Liberalization? In most communist states, there’s only one political party.
A popular TikToker calling himself Rathbone tells his hundred thousand subscribers:” capitalism… prioritizes profits over people… ( but ) socialism… prioritizes people over profits”.
Also, Chapman says communism offers the “guaranteed proper to… health treatment, food and shelter”.
Well, of course communism promises those issues and claims to promote individuals over earnings, but what individuals actually , get is unique.
As Caribbean doctors put it in this picture,” The Dominican health care system is destroyed… People are dying in the corridors”.
Chapman does, however, assert that technology can continue to grow even when no one is motivated by revenue. One of the first cellular phones and leptospirosis vaccine were provided by the USSR to the world through artificial satellites and the USSR.

That is true. However, no single uses those devices now. Socialism simply produces many more.
Lastly, Chapman says,” Equity should be collective”.
It feels great to have a social ownership. ” We’ll share everything” ! ,
However, every effort at social rights has failed.  ,
One famous American example: 200 years ago, New Harmony, Indiana, abolished private property, promising a” community of equality” . ,
, The effect was hunger.  ,
When individuals realized they could get just as much little working as they could working difficult, many, normally, worked less. The communal experiment failed within a year, and ownership of the property was given back to the secret eye.
When I confront these difficult principles with these well-known social media actors, what do they say? Unfortunately, I don’t understand. On Stossel Television, no one would look for debate.  ,  ,
The bottom line: Incentives problem. A rented car is not washed by anyone. Some people give a damn about what is their right. It’s simply human nature.
Capitalism isn’t great, but if we want a better future, and freedom, socialism is the only thing that functions.  ,
