A New York Times article from earlier this month made some remarkable revelations about one of the media’s biggest spiritual cows, Planned Parenthood. Katie Benner, a writer, starts her piece by sharing the tale of a woman who had an abortion at Planned Parenthood.

However, another one of the media’s sacred cattle is at odds with this piece of Planned Parenthood’s objective. Because Obamacare gives less of the poor ladies more choices for care, they are also more likely to visit these clinics for procedures other than pregnancy.
Hospitals are running out of money for medical choices, so they’re running out of supplies, failing to properly maintain up services, and laying off workers. But which feature of Planned Parenthood is most successful? You guessed it: contraception.
” There are beautiful areas, especially in areas of the country that support abortion rights”, Benner information. It’s tremendously sad to see the statements “bright spots” and “abortion right” in the same sentence.
She continues:
Planned Parenthood in Illinois just opened an 11, 200 square feet, state-of-the-art hospital in Carbondale, a few hours drive from the edges of Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Missouri, which have banned or greatly limited pregnancy. As the internet prepared to welcome women from local states who wanted to have abortions, it raised staff salaries and increased benefits.

Regardless of how tough the remaining tries to refute the story that Planned Parenthood is all about healthcare, that has always been Planned Parenthood’s main goal and will always be.
