Most individuals seem to be getting on board with the idea that women ‘ and children’s activities should be for, well, girls and women. The state of Maine, yet, isn’t playing together. And it appears that the country’s officials are so far that anyone who dares speak up for genetic people who do not want to compete against people must be silenced.  ,  ,

Rep. Laurel Libby, a Republican who represents the Maine’s 64th neighborhood, has served in the State House of Representatives since 2020, but now, she’s able to vote or talk on the House surface unless she issues an explanation. Her precise crime? Pointing out that a high school boy named John-turned-Katie won the woman’s pole-vaulting state finals in Maine. He competed as a teenager pole vaulter the previous year and placed fifth overall. How’s what she posted on X that obviously upset acquaintances in the House:  ,
Meet John, who presently goes by Katie.
After the state purposefully disregarded the state’s current federal regulations and allowed him to engage, John won the woman’s pole-vaulting state championship in Maine. photograph. twitter.com/aROUERYdR5

Two years ago, John placed FIFTH in kids ‘ shaft climbing.
However, this time ( when competing against women ) this cruel get propelled his school’s women ‘ team to win the entire state championship. photograph. twitter.com/n0G1FB5cg9

UPDATE: We’ve learned that *just ONE time ago* John was competing in boy’s shaft tomb. That’s when he had his second place finish.
All of this has happened in the last year, with the full support of the Maine Principals ‘ Association.

On Tuesday evening, the House voted 75-70 to rebuke Libby for the content. Speaker Ryan Fecteau told her they would take a break while she thought about her explanation after the vote. However, Libby has not offered an apology and has appeared on several TV shows and podcasts where she has stated she will previously. ” I told him,’ We do not need to consider comfortable,’ as I was going to remain speaking up for Maine ladies”, she told Fox News Digital.  ,

The Maine Democratic Majority has just filed a lawsuit against me for criticizing their inaction in keeping biological men out of women ‘ sports.
Let me be clear: I won’t tolerate silence and I won’t let the tones of Maine women to be heard. photograph. twitter.com/Zdy2usGuo6

She continued,” This is a remarkable double standard, as there are public pics of this person in many locations, on social media, and even some posted by his class, but this was an individual who participated in a public function, who publicly stood on a podium and accepted a final prize that rightfully belonged to the girls standing in the second-place place.”
Fox also reports that” Libby came to the house floor with a prepared seven-page speech on the importance of protecting girls ‘ and women’s sports from trans inclusion.” However, throughout the night, her microphone was consistently turned off when she was trying to deliver that speech”. She claims that she was unable to even finish her first sentence on the subject.  ,
In my opinion, liberal Democrats in Maine are merely engaging in political games that will ultimately result in the punishment of their constituents. Making Libby unable to speak or vote only harms the people she represents. Obviously, they keep voting her into office for a reason, but now, she won’t even be able to help push through a bill on expanding “access to mental health resources” that she herself proposed, something that could benefit the entire state. And, of course, they’re just punishing all the girls who want to play sports without losing to people who are biologically designed to be bigger, faster, and stronger.  ,

Over the past 24 hours, Libby’s situation has attracted a lot of national attention, and she has benefited from the support of a number of well-known men and women. Activist Riley Gaines even compared the House’s actions to life in Afghanistan:  ,
A female representative in Maine lost the ability to cast ballots and speak on the floor for girls and women in Maine.
No, this didn’t happen in Afghanistan. It happened in America.

The federal government is behind Libby, and that’s the best part. Janet Mills, the governor of Maine, has stated that she will not comply with Donald Trump’s executive order to keep biological males from competing in female sports and that she even had a heated conversation with the president recently.  ,
President Trump and governor exchanged heatedly. Executive order prohibiting transgender women from competing in sports has been criticized by Janet Mills (D-ME).
